Weekly Buff
The Back Story
On this edition of the weekly buff we have, yet another GT500 producing 760Hp with a beautiful hand built motor, and 625 lb-ft of torque. This amazing vehicle came in for a light paint correction, Paint Protection Film, and our best Graphene Coating available.
We started as always by prepping the Mustang from front to back. Washing it with our EVO FOAM CANNON and EVO shampoo. We also used our EVO wheel gel to remove all brake dust and road debris that may stick to them while driving. Once we knew we had a completely clean surface to deal with we began the next step.
We began to lightly polish it with our EVO 2000 Cut finishing polish and a hard foam pad, which we found produces the best results when you need to lightly cut some scratches away without using a Heavy Cut polish. We also were testing out a new cordless polisher from Milwaukee to see if we liked it compared to others on the market and compare it to our own cordless polishers. This vehicle was in great condition compared to some others we see come through our doors, and it only took one step of paint correction to leave a perfect finish that we could coat, and apply PPF to as well.
We moved on to our PPF department where our head installer Maxwell along with the crew were able to completely protect this mustang just under two days protected every single surface that could receive any kind of rock damage or debris damage while driving. Max and the crew make sure that each install is seamless and can not be seen from any angle we even go as far as debadging the car and removing the door handles to get behind each piece without a cut.
Once that was complete Josh and JR finished up the last step which was Ceramic Coat each and every surface of this GT500 before the owner came to pick it up the next day. They used our Plastic Renew & Protect for all the plastic trim around the vehicle to provide UV protection especially in this Las Vegas heat, and provide a deep black color for over a year to come. We applied our EVO PPF & Vinyl Ceramic Coating to all the pieces that were covered in PPF to provide a deeper shine to the film along with protect the glue from yellowing, and from sun damage over time. The wheels were protected with our EVO Wheel & Caliper coating to make them easier to clean and slick so that no brake dust sticks to them, and the final Coating we applied was our DIY EVO Graphene Ceramic Coating to the rest of the vehicle that was not covered in PPF to provide a deep gloss along with protection against light scratches, and road damage that could occur when driving. The owner was ecstatic when he picked up his vehicle expressing to our guys just how great of a job they had done leaving it looking better than the day he picked it up.
