The Back Story
Fred the owner of this immaculate 2019 Porsche Turbo S gave us a call last week and wanted to have his chariot paint corrected and ceramic coated. He also requested that we debadge the rear bumper and apply his new Yellow 991 Turbo S badge which truly set the car apart from the rest.
Fred picked this 911 Turbo S up a few months back and went straight into personalizing it, first by adding all the Carbon Fiber accents such as the Carbon Air Inlets on the side of the car, the Carbon vents on the rear covering the engine, also the Carbon mirror caps and some other bits and pieces on the interior. These accents truly gave the 911 a whole new look. One thing that jumps out at me the most are the Carbon Fiber Wheels! Porsche offers these exclusively on the Turbo S and they are not cheap!
Moving on to the power plant, the 2019 Turbo S comes with a stout 3.8l flate six that produces 580~ hp and over 500 tq. This launches the Turbo S from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds!
We completed a 2 Step Paint Correction: Synthetic Wool Pad and EVO 800 Heavy Cut compound, followed up with a Yellow Moderate Cut Pad and EVO 2000 Moderate Cut compound on our EVO 21 Dual Action polisher. This process ensured we were able to remove nearly all of the imperfections, less the few heavier things.
Once the Paint Correction process was completed, we then moved on to Ceramic Coating. Fred plans on keeping this car for as long as possible, we applied our EVO PRO 9H Titanium which is our 6 year warrantied coating. Not only does it protect this perfect show car quality finish, it will also provide him with the piece of mind that there will be no oxidation, sunfading, etc. We live in Las Vegas where those issues are prevelant and early onset with the amount of direct sunlight and heat we have on a regular basis.
